Position Summary:

 

Manager of Workforce Planning Liaison acts as the dedicated resource to support the workforce process and be accountable for clear interface with CAM Operations teams to deliver the results across the enterprise. The position serves as a subject matter expert for the Workforce Management function operating as a liaison and strategic partner between the business unites including HRBP. Through interactions with the HRBP and operational groups, this role provides business updates and interfaces with the CAM Operational teams. This included but is not limited to mapping out business processes and participating in working groups in process improvements that will enhance the agility to the business and HR operations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide real time solutions to business issues for operational success.
  • Supports PAR management ownership with accountability to centralized resource within each of the brand by providing guidance and support in assessing future PAR needs.
  • Plays a strategic partnership role in the forecasting process working with the HRBP teams to assure that business needs are correctly captured and translated in the right forecasting model for the desired outcome.
  • Act as the point of contact for the Brand HRBPs for all CAM HR Shared Service areas providing guidance and follow up on all action items or needs. This would include representing and liaising with the areas of Talent Attraction, Onboarding, Global Processing, Scheduling, RCM Manila and India, HR Port Logistics, Crew Travel and Business Analytics.
  • Will participate in Workforce planning meetings and represent the HR Shared Services as needed in partnership with HRBPs. Will also acquire inputs to circle back for follow up actions on behalf of the HR Shared Services leaders.
  • Liaises with CAM Financial Team to provide inputs on Crew Movement related analysis and will act as a strategic partner in the CAM Financial Forecast process.
  • Provides support and guidance in any escalating queries based on the extensive knowledge base possessed in the different HR Shared Service areas.
  • Provides analytical support to the organization for all brands in a dynamic environment. Attends meetings, addresses and resolves problems or concerns in a self-directed manner.  Focus must be in supporting the CAM Operational teams and HRBP with initiative.
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements countermeasures to identify problems by working with the CAM Operations supporting teams.
  • Responsible for affecting positive change that help with enhancing crew services in a cost effective manner and driving new brand initiatives.
  • Through fact finding, develops and administers strategic product definitions collaborating with the HRBP for the brands, establishes recommendations
  • Influences strategic and operational perspective and helps determines requirements, resource needs and assist with the successful implementation of recommendations.
  • Oversees the overall results and measures the strategic impact to the CAM Process. Identifies trends and works with the management team and HRBP to develop specific actions to remedy the challenges facing in the Workforce Management function.
  • Develops presentations, as needed, to convey new strategies, policies and changes for senior management.
  • Develops strong working relationships with key management personnel in other departments which have informational and operational needs related to Workforce Planning
  • Assist with inquiries to provide solutions for customers concerns. Problem resolution.
  • Researches and resolves situations requiring extensive research and resolution processes; provide data analysis reviews on trend lines and make recommendations.

Job Requirements

Financial Responsibilities

Position has a strong and direct impact on the annual CAM cost estimated in 122 million. 

 Ensuring that the right process are followed and place to continue support the growth of the shipboard workforce.  

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business field and or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in various disciplines within HR Operations; focus being on workforce planning, shipboard recruitment, operations and logistics, and/or global HR Operations process.
  • Minimum 5 years proven management experience to direct subordinates and staff. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and employees.  Working knowledge of personal computers with associated financial software and communication packages. 
  • Must have experience managing projects and implementing solutions, building credibility with business partners, and presenting process optimization and employee development plans

 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret common business language is required.  Additionally the ability to write speeches, make presentations, calculate data and in general apply logical sense to the business environment is required

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in: Microsoft Office products inclusive of having the ability to develop PowerPoint presentations for management, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Visio, and read Hyperion reports or other such software or systems as the company may deem appropriate.  Quintiq , Enterprise 1, Microstrategy and Power BI is a plus.
