Job Description

Position Summary

The International Trading team will be responsible for monitoring sales and ongoing business performance.  The Senior Analyst monitors performance against targets and provides actionable insights to drive revenue growth. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize statistical and written revenue reports including daily booking dashboard, weekly booking report to provide insightful commentary to the Management team on booking statistics, trends, and promotional performance.
  • Review market data on booking performance, commission, distribution mix, passenger demographics and market trends.
  • Co-ordinate the annual International guest/revenue plan and subsequent monthly/quarterly forecasts. Proactively identify gaps, report on and develop solutions around to achieve business needs.
  • Liaise with Miami Revenue Management to develop and distribute annual and quarterly international guest Sourcing.
  • Assist in preparing trading decks, represent International markets in the meeting and communicate actions back to International markets.
  • Assist in preparing monthly trading updates.
  • Explore review and analyze, data to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights to aid in developing new forecasting models and improve existing models) - validate key assumptions and modeling approach market research (analyzing market trends, competition, market segmentation) in support of long-range strategy
  • Conduct bespoke analysis on booking performance, commission, distribution mix, passenger demographics and market trends for senior executives.
  • Assist all areas of the business as appropriate.

Job Requirements


Job Requirements

  • 4-6 years in an analytical, economics, commercial, financial role as well as proven analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year university/ Masters preferred
  • Cruise or hospitality experience highly preferred


Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to work under tight project deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects and tasks at once
  • In-depth knowledge of economics and finance, as well as strong mathematical skills
  • Skilled at extracting and analyzing large amounts of data (Hyperion, Essbase, Excel)
  • Ability to isolate issues relating to risk, productivity, and other business operations, and to identify and propose solutions
  • Analytical skills to process business data and create detailed financial plans based on findings
  • Strategic mindset, ability to perform market and competitive analysis and to make recommendations
  • Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • Passion for brands
  • Availability to travel 5% of the time
