The Insights & Analytics Senior Analyst functions as an integral part of the Product team and is responsible for supporting all projects related to the Concept and Product Development teams. The Concept Development team will utilize customer insights to create the vision for onboard programming and product design for Newbuilds, Fleet Modernizations, and Private Destinations. This team plays a vital role in product innovation and participates in the analysis of `What¿s Next?¿ in terms of the vacation experience for the brand. The role is responsible for financial, profitability, competitive, and ad hoc analysis collaborating across the organization related to these projects. This role will significantly influence decision making related to resource allocation, product strategy, ship design, and customer experience.


  • Identify and utilize data driven and customer led insights to influence scope development, onboard programming and product.
  • Perform profitability & ROI analysis related to Product Development projects.
  • Create qualitative and quantitative assessments for competition related to onboard programming, product design, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to provide relevant analysis and data.
  • Develop business cases incorporating all considerations, benefits & risks, and financial implications related to any specific project.
  • Project manage Capital Request process by collecting, gathering, drafting and ensuring business leaders alignment for Newbuilds, Fleet
  • Modernizations and Private Destinations.
  • Lead calendar planning for Royal Caribbean products and programs. 
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements


  • Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent required; MBA preferred; or one to three years related business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel.  Strong PC skills are required.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Advanced Access, Essbase and BRIO preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the cruise industry preferred.
  • Analytical: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and options and implement solutions.
  • Presentation: Using computer skills and communication style to create, manipulate, edit and communicate slide presentations. Understanding end-state and the best way to present a story in a logical and analytical fashion to achieve desired results.
  • Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are communicating and taking time to understand points being made.
  • Negotiating and Persuasion: Bringing others together to try to reconcile differences and persuading others to your point of view.
  • Financial Modeling: Evaluating data, determining optimal way to spend to accomplish company goals.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with various teams to align and influence strategic decision-making among Brand leadership.
