Position Summary

The Product Development Senior Account Executive will support in the implementation and execution of all new concepts, experiences, activities, dedicated spaces and programming.  This role will assist in bringing to life concepts and exeperiences that directly respond to consumer insights. Reporting to the Senior Manager or Manager on the Product Development team, this person will assist in various tactical efforts on both new ship projects, fleet modernization ships during their dry dock, ship projects while in service and on the brand¿s private destination. This role will assist with the elements of the guest experience, from brief, through design and execution. This person will work collaboratively with other teams including Operations, Newbuild, Design., Marketing, Sales, Risk Management and Revenue Management.  All product information for guest communication, validation of execution and audit process post-delivery will be established and maintained by the Product Development team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the establishment of the Product Development team to concept and execute the next generation and fleet modernization of Royal Caribbean ships.
  • Support the execution of new concepts and experiences while continually enhancing our existing products.
  • Assist the Insights & Analytics team and analyze data to influence and develop the product.
  • Maintain roadmap and effectively project manage complex timelines and deliverables.
  • Partner and collaborate closely with key stakeholders from the various departments across the organization to understand how to adapt and evolve the strategy.
  • Support management with established product development on the accurate execution of concepts to ensure innovation and authenticity are maximized.
  • Create presentations showcasing the business environment, current product positioning, competitive landscape, insights and data findings to share recommendations.

Job Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years business, product/brand marketing or operations experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in the travel/cruise industry
  • Past Experience working with Architects/Designers/Creative & Innovation Consultants a plus
  • Ability to analyze data and research results to make recommendations
  • Ability to apply strong analytical, financial, conceptual and strategic thinking
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to take personal initiative
  • Strong business acumen
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong key computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
