The Senior Account Executive of Onboard Branding & Communications is responsible for supporting the Manager of the department working in conjunction with operations and shipboard teams to identify, recommend, develop and facilitate the standardization of branding guidelines for the Royal Caribbean International brand. 

The Senior Account Executive will be the key contact for supporting and sustaining a partnership with segments of operations and will be responsible for leading strategic and tactical branding initiatives and programs designed to achieve or exceed satisfaction targets within all onboard channels. This position will support the global strategy for all onboard communication channels. 


1. Leads partnership with operations, shipboard and brand teams to ensure that all entities are informed and aligned with the branding and communications strategies, the brand campaign, the Royal Way Standards and the corporate strategic plan.
2. Implements and drives initiatives and strategies through integrated onboard communications channels to generate, increase, and engage consumer awareness of existing or new onboard experiences delivered through internal or external partners. 
3. Develops multi- channel strategies designed to improve operational executions and guest experience. Strategies include leading creative development, consumer facing communications (signs, flyers, etc.) digital entertainment, talk tracks for shipboard teams, SOPs, etc.
4. Supports guest satisfaction ratings and onboard initiatives by developing marketing and communication plans to achieve NPS targets.  Assists in evaluating all onboard product & services, brand communications, and guest satisfaction.
5. Primary day-to-day contact with internal and external partners and ensures they uphold agreed-to metrics and goals and are aligned with branding objectives and standards.
6. Responsibilities include identifying, researching, and measuring potential onboard offerings and strategic partnerships. Also ensuring all committed partners and promotions are effective and evolving as needed to support global reach.
7. Develops clear, concise well written briefs that communicate the business objectives, consumer insights that drive our needs. 
8. Responsible for supervising ongoing day-to-day creative development and production of on-brand onboard assets (print, video & digital assets) to ensure they improve guest satisfaction and experience
9. Maintains a rigorous calendar of all deliverables and milestones.
10. Performs other duties as required. 

The Senior Account Executive should have a comprehensive understanding of the Royal Caribbean International brand and insight into the competitive landscape.  The position is expected to:

1. Possess a deep understanding of the business segments they represent and to proactively recommend branding and communications opportunities to drive results.
2. Comprehensive understanding and experience in effective internal and external communication strategies.
3. Ability to apply operational, conceptual and strategic thinking to objectives, proposals and performance.
4. Solid knowledge and understanding of Royal Caribbean's products, services, brand essence and marketing objectives relative to competitors and potential partners.
5. Ability to actively participate in cross-functional teams to define and implement product development and partnership strategies.
6. Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with all departments and levels of management throughout the organization, as well as, with external customers, partners and companies. Ability to understand the business objectives of other companies and to find synergies and compatible goals to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
7. Remain current on industry trends, business opportunities and competitive intelligence. Ability to work against deadlines and financial limitations.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university
2. Minimum of 3 - 5 years business, marketing or agency experience
3. Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in creative concept development & execution, strategy and branding
4. Experience in supporting business partnerships, vendors, internal and/or cross functional teams
5. Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
6. Strong written and oral communication skills
7. Strong project management skills, especially under time and budget constraints
8. Ability to present plans and ideas to all levels of employees and management
9. Detailed and excellent knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages including Excel, Word, or related programs
10. Occasional travel required onboard ship or at ship yard.
