The Sr. AE, Email Marketing will project manage implementation and execution of technical and lead acquisition marketing initiative efforts from kickoff to completion. The role will support the Customer Marketing team and cross department partners to prioritize business needs, strategy and execution, including but not limited to; non-booked guest email communications, lifecycle development, health of programs, and business intelligence team initiatives, with the support of the Customer Marketing Lead. They will assist in contribution to the day-to-day progress of a high volume scope of projects dependent on driving bookings, database growth, lead generation, etc. through spearheading daily touch base meetings, daily project list distribution, task prioritization, timeline communication and deadline execution. 


  • Support the One-to-One Marketing team in project management initiatives for non-booked guest email, business goals or audiences. Including but not limited to; email stream development and enhancements, email communication strategy, deliverability monitoring, daily reporting, process documentation and technical and technology projects.
  • Responsible of strategize, follow, track, and implement technical project plans and timelines for all technical initiatives.
  • Predict roadblocks and obstacles, and establish meetings or integration points between teams.
  • Take initiative to improve upon our current team processes, providing recommendations of new strategies to help day-to-day efficiency and project completion.
  • Ensure all internal project documentation is created, maintained, and properly saved and shared.
  • Development of agenda for planning calls, convening¿s, and strategic internal and external discussions about new and emerging technical initiatives.
  • Interacts and establishes relationships with internal and external stakeholder and third parties/vendors.
  • Responsible for supporting the Customer Marketing Lead in monitoring performance and key performance indicators for database growth and lead acquisition.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor degree required3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, lead acquisition, project management
  • Experience working with top-tier Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ ExactTarget, CheetahMail, Responsys, etc.).
  • Experience working with the determination and execution of Change Management Requests for various vendors
  • Experience prioritizing campaign production in tools such as JIRA
  • Project management: ability to manage multiple campaigns and cross-functional team members
  • Execution: excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Approach: energy and enthusiasm to drive results; must be self-motivated, proactive, poised and flexible
  • Industry knowledge: passionate about cruise/travel industry, eCommerce and CRM
  • Demonstrate strong initiative. Demonstrate effective questioning and listening skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Should effectively build relationships and encourage collaboration in order to create positive outcomes.
  • Tools knowledge: JIRA, SFMC, Confluence, Return Path
