Job Description

The Sr. Technical Recruiter is an individual contributor position responsible for the recruitment and selection of highly specialized positions within the Digital, IT &/or AI departments from the Analyst to Director level. This position is responsible to establish and develop a strong network of candidates as well as manage any external agencies and/or recruiters, to efficiently recruit management and professional level candidates.

You will partner effectively with hiring managers to source, assess and hire the best talent for our technical roles within these departments. This role will drive the recruiting process for technical roles, uncovering great talent, delivering a superb candidate experience and ultimately closing the right candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the hiring process for assigned roles, working closely with hiring manager, HRBP and internal teams to determine competencies needed for each role, manage the hiring process, bubbling up any roadblocks along the way.
  • Execute on hiring initiatives.
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing strategies and execution.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams as required.
  • Deliver pipelines of talent for open roles, using a combination of sourcing, networking and applicants from targeted sources.
  • Ensure a great candidate experience by following up with candidates in a timely fashion and providing transparency throughout the process.
  • Must be able to attract passive candidates through all available sourcing tools.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the department, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within our mission to deliver the highest quality results.
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
  • Participate with TA Leadership, in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for mid to senior-level openings.

Job Requirements


  • 5+ years full life cycle recruiting experience in a global, matrixed environment. Technical/IT/Digital recruiting experience required
  • Strong sourcing skills and networking with creative approach to building talent pools via all available channels
  • Excellent ability to understand and articulate the functional skills required for the roles within the technical space
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of accepted human resource practices and all applicable laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees
  • Proven ability to conduct competency-based interviewing. Strong interviewing skills; ability to understand and further the organizations business objectives and employee performance objectives

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of accepted human resources recruitment practices. Ability to acquire knowledge of recruitment processes in various countries.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with candidates within established guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, able to gather and relay information in a multinational environment consisting of department heads, managers, coworkers and peers.
  • Ability to productively work under tight time constraints and stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of automated human resources systems necessary.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages such as Excel and Word.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those requirements employees must meet to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.  While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information. The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 10 - 15 pounds. Visual requirement includes distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, as well as domestic and shipboard travel. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
