Position Summary:

The Manager of International Commerce & Finance is responsible for all aspects of planning, analysis and reporting for the Azamara International Sales organization.  The Manager is responsible for managing commercial agreements with key partners, ensuring the proper controls are in place for the various expense items that Sales is responsible for, i.e., commissions, sales activities, general and administrative and all trade compensation programs and will report to senior management. This position will create and analyze appropriate metrics and reporting for field sales managers across markets outside North America to ensure performance can be can monitored by market, territory and channel. 

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaborative effort across sales, revenue, marketing and finance to support international sales
  • Ensure the proper controls are in place for the various expense items that Sales is responsible for, commissions, sales activities, Co-Op, General, Administrative, and all trade compensation programs Volume Incentives VI, override commissions and ancillary compensation programs.
  • Identify sales trends, forecast sales production, expenses, base commissions and direct revenue and lend support to Azamara Sales leadership in setting and interpreting goals
  • Manage annual sales plan process and other sales contracts creation, distribution and execution.
  • Responsible for managing, coaching, monitoring and developing inside sales team to support travel partners and field sales professionals as well as supporting Azamara's call center agents and onboard sales teams as needed.
  • Responsible for managing the compensation program for Azamara field sales, inside sales, and CMI sales.
  • Responsible for creating appropriate metrics and reporting so that the Azamara Sales team can monitor performance by brand, region, territory, role and business model.
  • Plays an integral role in the planning, developing, and implementing SalesForce automation projects (SFA).
  • Develops strategies that will shape the sales organization of the future.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is required, MBA preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years experience in financial/business analysis function.
  • 5 - 7 years sales/managerial experience. Experience in technical skills such as data management and organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting concepts, sales and trade compensation.
  • Strong business analytical skills. 
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively to audiences ranging from executive to field sales.
  • Ability to use advanced business and sales knowledge to make decisions, use sound judgment, negotiate effectively and get results.
