This person is responsible for oversight of capital planning, reporting of financial results, and financial analytics and modeling for the brand. This involves managing and developing a team of two individuals and working with the operational teams to develop insights on complex financial analyses. The person will also work directly with the Vice President, Finance & Strategy, on strategic projects that directly interface with the brand CEO and other executives.

This position requires outstanding analytical skills (including financial analysis), and business acumen. Position requires knowledge of how the company works and how value is generated, as well as in-depth familiarity with key financial and operational data.  Requires outstanding communications skills and the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior executives



  • Oversees the brand analytics team, which supports the VP, Finance and Strategy, on various P&L and Capital analyses. This includes complex financial modeling of strategic projects (e.g., new ship financial model, ROI of fleet modernizations, etc.).
  • Works with operational teams and brand executives to develop a capital plan that optimizes returns on invested capital. Monitors approved capital projects to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Leads financial reporting for the brand, including monthly results and forecast updates along with progress on meeting KPI targets.
  • Assists the VP, Finance & Strategy with preparation of the strategic plan, annual plan and presentations for the Board of Directors, Celebrity/RCL Management teams, and other internal meetings.
  • Proactively identifies and analyzes areas of potential improvement. Takes a profit maximizing view and makes recommendations to the VP, Finance & Strategy based on analyses that will create efficiencies, reduce costs, or improve revenues.
  • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals in support of achieving all goals. Employee engagement and development/education are a priority of the Celebrity Finance organization.
  • Proactively drive improvements in the team's processes. Share and implement best practices with colleagues within the Celebrity Finance organization. Continuous improvement is our mantra.


Job Requirements


  • B.A in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. MBA or applicable Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years relevant work experience, preferably in finance with experience managing others.
  • Experience building financial models.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with senior level operational personnel
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to digest and synthesize large amounts of data and information into executive-level reports and documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage continuous flow of requests.
  • Strong command and understanding of all financial metrics and ratios used to evaluate business.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
