Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Lead, Casino Partnership Marketing and Onboard Communications will be to create and implement marketing strategies and tools in order to attract and retain land based high value casino players. This position works directly with the Casino Operations and Marketing team in the development of Partnerships programs with suitable land based properties with the goal of inviting their players to sail with us and experience our onboard casinos. The role will also support the development and evolution of the Royal Reps communications program as well as the implementation of branded Casino Certificate events.

This position will also play a crucial role in facilitating the management and execution of all onboard casino marketing communications including onboard partnerships promotions, tournaments, tactical campaigns, etc.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage relationship with Casino Operations, Marketing and Onboard teams to provide relevant and strategic feedback on the best practice approaches to support their products and initiatives in the Casino Partnership, Royal Reps and Onboard marketing communications
  • Works with Casino Operations to understand partnership opportunities either with land based casino properties or Royal Reps and develops a solid plan with full communications strategies, plans and tactics that engage and attract land based players to our ships
  • Helps ensure achievement of program targets for acquisition / profitability and other KPIs
  • Manages the internal agency in the development and execution of all communications needed to support the growth of the Partnerships, Royal Reps and onboard Casino programs
  • Streamlines and evolves onboard communications to further attract players and make the Casino the hub for players¿ entertainment.
  • Partners with One to One Marketing team to ensure consistent approach to communications is followed from pre-cruise to onboard
  • Ensures issues related to assigned programs are tracked and prioritized and follows through to resolution
  • Maintains strong and collaborative relationships with Casino Operations partners and their accounts as needed
  • Modify and share go-forward strategies based on learnings and best practices
  • Actively monitor competitive communications and provide learnings to internal teams



 

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree required 4 to 5 years of experience in Casino Marketing,
  • Project Management or Marketing Communications
  • Education: BS/BA in Marketing, Management or related field
  • Experience: 4 - 5 years of experience in marketing communications
  • Experience working with high value partners
  • Knowledge of Casino marketing best practices
  • Proven ability to work within in cross-functional organization and manage complex production schedules.
  • Project management: ability to manage multiple campaigns and cross-functional team members
  • Execution: excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Approach: energy and enthusiasm to drive results; must be self-motivated, proactive, poised and flexible
  • Industry knowledge: passionate about cruise/travel industry, eCommerce and CRM
