Position Summary

The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for providing, coordinating, and developing various analyses in support of Supply Chain Cost Avoidance Project initiatives. This role will identify cost avoidance opportunities continuously by analyzing the data. This position will be program managing the cost avoidance projects and report to the executives on the progress and saving realization. This position also is responsible for reporting Data Governance activities progress and quality. This role will also develop data visualization platform to provide the optimal value of the data for all related business units. This role will be expected to provide analysis to Executive staff while leading/participating special projects.

Career Snapshot

  • Lead the GMO & Supply Chain Partnership cost avoidance projects from cradle to grave
  • Execute any uploading activities into AMOS such as contract uploads, data clean up uploads, etc.
  • Communicate  fleetwide to collect info to execute the cost avoidance initiatives
  • Support Supply Chain Technical Sourcing team with analysis reports
  • Report on project progress to the executives
  • Assist Global Marine Operation, fleet wide and Supply Chain with regular and ad hoc analyses
  • Liaison between Data Governance Manager and Data Governance Execution Team
  • Report on the progress and quality of Data Governance Activities
  • Assist with implementation for Data Governance Monitoring System Implementation
  • Provide support for any special projects on demand
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • MBA or Masters Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in analysis, project planning, and business case development
  • At least 3 years of product specific forecasting experience
  • Strong proficiency in query/reporting tools, such as Python, SQL, Power BI
  • Able to analyze extensive and complex ranges of data, information, processes and, system solutions to produce effective and efficient business solutions
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Able to manage multiple small and large projects that run in tandem
  • Able to communicate in a flexible manner to ensure understanding across all levels of organization
  • Understanding of the business in order to validate findings and conclusions and ensure data integrity and accuracy at all times
  • Knowledge of Hyperion BI Suite, Oracle Database, SAS, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project strongly preferred

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. 
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
