Job Description

Position Summary:

  • The Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) has responsibility for identifying tools, technologies, teams, and identity services globally.
  • Leveraging leading technologies, the Director will work collaboratively across the enterprise to integrate identity management solutions that improve our security posture while equally improving the end user experience.
  • An initial focus will be to design, build and communication the IAM services and support model that will maintain and advance the overall Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program and Operations across the company. Working with IT and IS leaders, this position will drive seamless integration into all our critical business services while simplifying the authentication processes.
  • We are looking for a strong leader of people with an exceptional understanding and subject matter expertise in identity management strategies such as; Single Sign On, Multifactor Authentication, Privileged Account Management, password vaulting, role-based access and Just-in-time provisioning.
  • This is a highly visible leadership role and the right candidate must have a customer-focused, team-oriented, approach that balances security needs and user experience to provide best-in-class identity security to the organization.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a global strategy for Identity and Access Management while ensuring scalability, resilience and superb end user experience
  • Direct and guides the IAM engineering and governance teams on major global project initiatives
  • Deliver a role-based access solution to the enterprise from design through implementation
  • Own the identity management policies and processes globally, maintaining industry applicable compliance
  • Work across IS and IT teams to deliver IAM best practices for on premise and cloud-based solutions for employees, contractors, vendors and guests
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to design identity solutions for the enterprise in a highly complex environment with a blend of legacy and innovation platforms
  • Support a healthy maintenance cycle for existing IAM solutions to ensure they are up to date and functionality is fully leveraged
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting to different levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Have a demonstrated track-record for building and leading exceptional teams through collaboration, mentoring and skill training.

 

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Expected to create and manage budget in own operating group and/or projects under their supervision
  • Solid understanding of accounting rules for expense and capital activities
  • Ensures efficient utilization of staff and non-labor resources Solid understanding of IT estimation activities including accurate forecasting
  • Accountable for financial implications and cost of systems and services
  • Responsible for defining optimization opportunities to reduce operational expenses

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10-12 years of experience within Information Security
  • CISSP Certification
  • CISA Certification

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven technical expertise across I.T. systems (applications, networks etc) and information security products (i.e firewalls, IPS, SIEM, proxy) and application security/vulnerability testing tools/techniques.
  • Ability to lead technical resources both within the company and at third party vendors
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and processes
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to influence others.
  • Familiarity of compliance controls related to a number of regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, and SOX. Well versed on compliance controls impact or are impacted by Identity and Access Management processes.
  • Proven ability to builds strong relationships with Senior Leadership, IT Staff and peers.
  • Demonstrates strong organization skills and time management. Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Proven ability to manage a global team.

Work Environment: 

  • Requires travel to support internal business partners
  • Will require travel to RCL offices, ships, and 3rd party service provider facilities.
