Job Description

Position Summary:

This position performs required functions relating to Accounts Payable Address Book maintenance and compliance for the global company.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes accounts payable related documents from various countries, as well as in multiple currencies, languages and formats.
  • Ensures documents submitted contain required supplier’s banking specifications, external and internal approving signatures and check mark acknowledgments in compliance with Sarbanes control.
  • Keeps updated log of  supplier set ups entered in the Vendor Master File pending verbal banking confirmation.
  • Reach out to Managers and/or Directors or Above to obtain verbal phone confirmation that banking verification has taken place. Completes requirement#4 of the Banking form as per Sarbanes control and delivers completed documents to processing Coordinator.
  • Performs scanning and validation of documents uploaded in data repository.
  • Performs other duties such as Vendors on Hold Report, requiring basic knowledge of JDE, and assist in printing and distributing workflow documents to members of the team.
  • Search for Supervisor’s guidance as needed.


Job Requirements


  • Associates degree from college or university or minimum two to three years business related preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft applications required. Excel proficiency a must.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to research and sort out information.  Attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to make well thought out decisions, address and escalate priority situations and provide recommendations prompting resolution.
  • Must be able to function in a high volume deadline oriented environment, handle multiple tasks and work well with minimum supervision.
  • Organized, detailed, results oriented individual with excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Individual should be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to work under minimum supervision after training is completed. 
  • Preferably, individual should have been exposed to a corporate environment and understands and follows processes and procedures.
  • Individual’s verbal communication should convey confidence, knowledge and professionalism. Must be used to working in a team environment and be a team player.
