Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting and guiding the Onboard Revenue operations, and conducting and coordinating various analyses as determined by management in support of the Onboard Revenue Operations department.

The position enables the Onboard Revenue teams to generate revenues which meet and exceed revenue targets, whilst providing a service that exceeds hospitality industry standards and ensures both guest and employee satisfaction. This role establishes and drives a positive and highly-productive work environment and focuses on operational goals where analysis, training, continual development and positive reinforcement are paramount.

This position prepares evaluations, reports, and analyses of revenues, ratings, comments, and onboard expenses for accuracy and conformance with procedures and regulations. Using data compiled in these analyses, the position coordinates action plans and potential areas of focus for improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the shipboard Onboard Revenue Operations leadership teams through consistent feedback to maximize leadership's effectiveness and maintain a results-driven focus on revenues, ratings and crew satisfaction.
  • Continually supports the identification and examination of opportunities to enhance and enrich the onboard revenue generation through analysis of guest behavior, feedback and other established metrics. Provides support and guidance to shipboard teams to minimize and/or eliminate guest issues through effective root cause analysis and problem resolution, enabling fleetwide best practice sharing. 
  • Provides support, training and guidance to the Onboard Revenue management team to effectively maximize all revenue streams, manage all division expenses, and enable effective cash management.
  • Partners with shoreside teams to enhance operational service standards and delivery of products fleetwide.
  • Collaborates with corporate initiatives by representing Onboard Revenue Operations. This may involve being on project teams working with internal and external agencies, and functional areas shipboard and shore-side.
  • Maintains strong and collaborative relationships with all Shipboard and Shoreside partners to enable optimal performance and results.
  • Supports the on-going operation of all Revenue Centers as assigned by leadership. To include, but not limited to Shore Excursions, Gift Shops, Spa and Fitness, Photo, Art, Internet, Amenities, Gifts and Gear, Tablet Feedback programs.
  • Coordinates projects related to corporate initiatives from fleet operations, other corporate departments, and the ships, including but not limited to POS enhancements, Hybris/SAP Commerce enhancements, Destination Immersion Activities.
  • Runs regular reports from available sources on revenues, guest ratings and comments and provides relevant findings to the Onboard Revenue Operations team.
  • Uses available data (re)sources to analyze, identify and provide insight into trends and focus areas, and suggests action plans for improvement.
  • Uses the voyage data, revenue dashboards and monthly general ledger to identify trends, anomalies, and review for consistency, and reports on suggested efficiencies.
  • This position may require shipboard or other travel of up to 20% of their time

Job Requirements


  • College degree in business, finance or hospitality management
  • 3-5 years of  equivalent experience in a hospitality operational or corporate environment
  • Proven ability in analysis, financial controls, general business management
  • Highly effective communication skills, both verbal & written

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Individual must have good business acumen, analytical skills and excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to collaborate on developing training materials and programs for shipboard employees.
  • Ability to write reports which are clear and concise, outlining solutions and recommendation of actions.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills a must. Clear and precise communication at all levels of the organization essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, strength in communicating in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities
