Position Summary:

The Account Executive, Premium Product Development is responsible for assisting the GTO Premium Product Development Account Manager with the Premium Product Development worldwide, and Sr. Manager Special Events & Destinations.  Duties include: the development and finalization of all new products for all three brands including Azamara Cruises - AzAzmazing Evening Events, Insider Access Tours, Nights & Cool Places Tours and Ticketed Events (example; Monaco Grand Prix); Celebrity Cruises Signature Sailing Events, Celebrity Exclusive Tours and ticketed events (example;  Rio Carnival, British Open), and other brand promotions, initiatives and events by assisting in analyzing, administering and maintaining information. As well as distributing the various events and program information across all fields of business, internally and externally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product and brand management in the development of the above described products worldwide and ensures that they are properly and consistently presented in ASR and AS400.
  • Support the Premium Product Development Manager and Sr. Manager Special Events and Destinations in the execution of key strategic initiatives, identifying the tactics that will help us achieve our KPIs and monitor results.
  • Engage with management to help develop new concepts/ ideas fitting with the premium shore excursion products.
  • Responsible for tracking and processing all invoices related to the above described products and setting up any new vendor information in the system.
  • Submits to the copywriter all Tour Operational Forms of new Premium Products and special events that are aligned to the brands. This includes gathering all pertinent information and data to clarify objectives and identify challenges, etc.
  • Ensures communications are created in collaboration with the onboard Shore Excursion teams and facilitates them in achieving the revenue goals for each voyage.
  • Partners with Product Development Account Executives to ensure destination and tour content developed by Premium Product Development do not overlap or conflict.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of the strategic objectives and tactical plans of the GTO organization and actively seek opportunities to broaden the reach and effectiveness of our Premium Product Development efforts.
  • Supports guest satisfaction ratings for Azamara’s AzAmazing Evening Events by working with marketing to achieve annual targets.
  • Set up biweekly meeting with the brands marketing department personnel to review new and past Premium
  • Products and ticketed/special Events.
  • Will be available by phone on occasional weekend coverage for any situations that need immediate responses.

Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent, directly related experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Global Tour Operations and/or planning or supporting tour program development. 
  • Understanding of Global Tour Operations in-house management / ASR systems is desirable
  • Strong project management, detail-oriented, with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • International travel experience and destination knowledge an asset.
  • Good presentation skills

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Detail oriented with very strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills are required as this position regularly interacts with many functions in the organization.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers within a windows environment with e-mail, and MS Word with advance Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with related printers and equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrams, or schedule form.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those requirements employees must meet to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.  While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, and stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information.  The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 10-15 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel.
This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally to include shipboard visits and shore side excursions. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an encounter while performing the essential functions of the job. The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, as well as domestic, international, and shipboard travel. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
