Position Summary:

The AE, Guest Commerce is responsible for supporting the execution of content development for all pre-cruise products including but not limited to flash sales, new product launches, offer updates, merchandising enhancements, content updates/defects. This position will work closely with Guest Commerce team and all OBR partners to drive content marketing initiatives that support the ecommerce strategy and OBR and Guest Commerce business goals. They will be responsible for the day to day accuracy of the Cruise Planner website, briefing content to the creative agency and setting and executing against timelines associated with content updates and new initiatives that require a web presence.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of delivering the best in class guest experience for all guests on Cruise Planner.
  • Execute content strategy across the Cruise Planner web platform for all pre-cruise products.
  • Create, modify and communicate content briefs to the creative teams for new content creation or content updates. Manage production of all product content including but not limited to product descriptions, images, terms and conditions and any other content as needed.
  • Gather and organize information and assets from internal and external groups (including images, copy, size info, videos, pricing, etc.) to publish accordingly. 
  • Collaborate with OBR to manage project prioritization within business needs.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) testing of website assets, images and other related content; including but not limited to flash sales, new product launches, offer updates, merchandising enhancements, etc.
  • Monitor the marketplace incorporating innovations, changes and developments. Monitors guest needs through working with cross functional departments to translate into future enhancements and experiences.
  • Manage the content strategy for all categories by collaborating with category owners to understand category mix and how to deliver value of products to guests. Manage relationship with stakeholders for upsell and cross sell opportunities.
  • Manage taxonomy additions and optimizations to ensure that guests are able to locate products..

Maintain consistent voice/tone across all content.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in interactive or traditional Marketing, Advertising or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years working in content management and e-commerce
  • Experience with optimizing content and images
  • Experience in developing digital content
  • Working knowledge of web site and content management system 
  • Strong project management 
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible, comfortable with technology and willing to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Capable of managing multiple competing priorities and aggressive timelines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate broadly
