Job Description

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Account Executive, Casino Marketing will be to facilitate and coordinate email and direct mail marketing campaigns for casino consumer segments, at the direction of the Marketing Manager, aimed at driving revenue and increasing customer reactivation and retention by working collaboratively across teams, with in-house creative team and external vendors.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and deployment day-to-day execution of Casino email and direct mail marketing campaigns, including developing the creative brief and working with the creative team and external vendors to develop assets.
  2. Work with multiple internal and external vendors to stimulate casino customer lead acquisitions and retention efforts, to ultimately drive revenue.
  3. Utilize email engagement and consumer booking patterns to develop incremental Casino email channel segmentation, cadence and creative to increase revenue attributed to the Casino program.
  4. Responsible for casino EM/DM campaign pre-deployment QA alongside EM and DM vendors
  5. Manage EM/ DM agency process for production, asset delivery, QA and timely/ accurate deployment.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders from marketing, retail, product, and operations teams to ensure coordinated execution and drive email performance.
  7. Lead casino EM campaign post-deployment QA monitoring to ensure that all campaigns deploy successfully.
  8. Manage and monitor transactional and triggered email programs.
  9. Monitor EM/DM campaigns, report results and provide recommendations on how to improve performance through optimizations.
  10. Propose and execute campaign test plans with external vendors.
  11. Assist in improving email/ direct mail operations, campaign and database processes, and overall deliverability across domains.
  12. Research casino competitors to assure we are current with casino trends and innovation in email/direct mail communication
  13. Assist and work with Sr. AE, Casino Marketing in developing email campaign calendar to drive impactful cadence, content versioning and testing strategy with corresponding reporting.


Job Requirements


  • Education: BS/BA in Marketing or related field
  • College degree required. 1 to 3 years of experience in Email and Direct Mail marketing
  • Experience: 2- 3 years experience in email/ direct mail marketing
  • Execution: excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Project management: ability to manage multiple campaigns and cross-functional team members
  • Familiarity with metrics-based marketing
  • Email/Direct Mail Tools: knowledge with email and direct mail platforms such us Exact Target, Salesforce, Siebel and project management tool JIRA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to write marketing copy, including strong calls-to-action for targeted audiences.
  • Approach: energy and enthusiasm to drive results; must be self-motivated, proactive, poised and flexible
  • Industry knowledge: passionate about cruise/travel industry, eCommerce and CRM
