Brief Description of Team

Our Global Tour Operations team works with third party operators to create shore excursion experiences for our guests. In order to do that we have mini groups within the department that have specific tasks. The Product Development team works directly with the third party operators and acts as the creative force behind developing the tours. A Safety team reviews and evaluates tour concerns and complaints to ensure that the operators are taking the necessary measures to safeguard our guests. Thirdly, we have a finance team that manages the third party operator relationships from a financial perspective and also takes care of the managing the budget of the department.
                                                                                   

Brief Description of Intern Project

The Intern will work with the Product Development and Safety teams to review and analyze guest commentary in order to identify any trends that are present in the data and assist in communicating issues and concerns to tour operators in order to ensure that these trends are addressed. The intern will also work with the finance team in the forecasting aspect of our department and assist with any process efficiency assessments that the finance team has commenced. Additionally, the intern will help in the development of dashboards that will be used by the department in order to track productivity.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for when recruiting Interns?

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor or Graduate Finance, Marketing or Business Analytics related degree program
  • GPA of 3.2 and higher preferred
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
  • Must be able to be employed from May 26th to August 7th on a full-time basis
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Emulates pride, passion and commitment for their job and conveys excitement and enthusiasm for RCL.
  • Excited to collaborate and eager to learn from others
  • Proven leadership ability, either in a student organization, project, and/or outside the classroom
  • Demonstrates a passion for service and commitment to continuous improvement
