Position Summary:

 

Specialist of Workforce Planning acts as the dedicated resource to support the Manager of Workforce Planning Liaison who is accountable for clear interface with CAM Operations teams to deliver the results across the enterprise. The position assists the Manager in obtaining the needed information and analysis to properly support the interactions between the Shared Services business units, operations and the HRBP. This role provides business updates and interfaces with the CAM Operational teams as needed. This included but is not limited to mapping out business processes and participating in working groups in process improvements that will enhance the agility to the business and HR operations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supports manager in collecting information to provide real time solutions to business issues for operational success.
  • Assist manager in analyzing processes to assist with forecasting to assure that business needs are correctly captured and translated in the right forecasting model for the desired outcome.
  • Act as a support to the manager and Brand HRBPs for all CAM HR Shared Service areas providing guidance and follow up on all action items or needs. This would include representing and liaising with the areas of Talent Attraction, Onboarding, Global Processing, Scheduling, RCM Manila and India, HR Port Logistics, Crew Travel and Business Analytics.
  • Works closely with the HR Shared Services team with any escalated issues or concerns.
  • Prepares reports as needed to assist and provide support as well as guidance on any changes to the current state that might require an immediate plan to mitigate.  
  • By working very closely with the HR CAM operation’s team on the day to day activities, individual will provide analytical support to the organization for all brands in a dynamic environment.
  • Attends meetings as requested by manager and takes notes and creates action items for the working groups.
  • Supports with analyzing, developing, and implementing countermeasures to identify problems by working with the CAM Operations supporting teams.
  • Assist with putting together project plans that supports changes in any process that impacts workforce planning.
  • Assist by tracking that the require actions are being executed by the different business units within the CAM HR Shares Services.
  • Assist to develop presentations, as needed, to convey new strategies, policies and changes for senior management at the request of Manager.
  • Develops strong working relationships with all of the CAM HR Shared Services group as well as HRBP.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business field and or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 2 years of experience in various disciplines within HR Operations; focus being on workforce planning, shipboard recruitment, operations and logistics, and/or global HR Operations process preferred.
  • Must have experience managing projects and implementing solutions, building credibility with business partners, and presenting process optimization and employee development plans.

 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret common English business language is required.  Additionally the ability to write speeches, make presentations, calculate data and in general apply logical sense to the business environment is required

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in: Microsoft Office products inclusive of having the ability to develop PowerPoint presentations for management, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Visio, and read Hyperion reports or other such software or systems as the company may deem appropriate.  Quintiq , Enterprise 1, Microstrategy and Power BI is a plus.
