Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for vendor & program management of external vendors providing services to Talent Acquisition; LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Job Boards, backgrounds assessments etc.  Coordinates and facilitates business reviews, training for TA team, demos for potential new vendors with Talent Leadership team.  Conducts training courses or briefings, related to HR systems, policies and procedures. Executes on the strategic partnership plan with all vendors.  Drive execution of the analytics, seek out new or revised system solutions to deliver better reporting and analytics on TA supplier management.  Work collaboratively with HR analytics to develop forecasting and trend reporting that will provide valuable insights to TA leaders on current trends within recruitment and make recommendations based on those analytics.  Responsible for delivery and development of TA reporting – requirements for shipboard hires, recruiter metrics, overall TA service delivery etc. The TA Ops Lead will own the repository for all TA Process work, employee files, SOPs, metrics and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Solution measurement and Improvement: monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and programs and provide improvement, enhancement or replacement recommendations
  • Develops systematic ongoing communication with external vendor services to ensure agreements and processes are met, and informs them in a timely manner about relevant changes or improvements affecting policies and/or requirements
  • Ensures vendor reporting is consistent and provides relevant and accurate information to the business
  • Facilitates regular conference calls with global network of vendors with TA teams, as well as individual calls, web-conferencing, and/or site visits, providing training, updates, & guidance
  • Lead and drive the creation of TA repository of all relevant process and audit material for the global TA organization
  • Assist and support the implementation of systems and processes that will serve in the development of the Global Recruitment Regions, for processing and servicing candidates and crew members. 
  • Maintains ongoing training calendar, system implementations/ upgrades, refresher courses
  • Manages the delivery of reporting from vendors
  • Develop, in collaboration with HR Analytics team, all necessary reporting for Global TA functions, including but not limited to, recruiter productivity, hiring activity, overall hiring trends across brands, candidates experience survey results and engagement
  • Works closely with Media suppliers to ensure targeted media placement as needed
  • Responsible for reporting on ROI from various sourcing methods
  • Continually examines existing opportunities and identifies new opportunities to enhance and enrich not only all aspects of the employee movement life cycle, but in particular continuously driving for overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the operation
  • Participate and Lead TA Projects as needed
  • The position is required to perform any other job-relate duties assigned by their supervisor or management

 

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Human Resources

Strong analytical skills

Ability to leverage technology to provide insights and analytics

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

 

Strong knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

Knowledge of automated human resources systems preferred including JD Edwards, People Soft

Working knowledge of Talent Acquisition Sourcing strategies

Sound knowledge of various geographical areas

Highly effective communication skills as a variety of levels, both verbal and written.
