Position Summary:

Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Director, BI & Digital Analytics, the Sr. Manager, Digital Analytics will lead a team focused on enabling analytics across all RCCL digital properties. This role defines analytics implementation strategy and will influence the supporting reporting tools necessary to drive data collection and business insight across the digital organization. As data-driven decisions are critical to successful digital product development, this leader is a strategic partner in ensuring usable data is flowing to the various digital product teams with the right level of synthesis and intelligence. The Sr. Manager will be required to create strong relationships with key product leaders and win their trust by delivering insights that will help them achieve their product goals.

The Sr. Manager will provide direct leadership over a digital team of approximately 10 - 15 employees, contractors and vendor resources. This role will be responsible for leading our digital analytics team in the design, development, maintenance and support of our digital platforms, including the integration of data into the Adobe Analytics platform and related tools. As Sr. Manager, you will work with product owners, technical leads, developers and analysts to identify and support all areas with reporting and analysis that helps improve the digital customer experience. The role will work within an agile framework to support analytics for user stories with data solutions that meet reporting requirements.

The Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing plans and driving strategic initiatives. The successful candidate is proactive, anticipatory and driving in nature to provide significant commercial value to the organization's analytics functions. This includes managing complex analytics projects from inception through delivery and post go-live support. This individual will be working in close partnership with digital, IT and business leaders, including project, program and executive sponsors. The candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adjust plans quickly. This position will have direct access to the senior digital leadership team and will have a positive influence on the growth of current and future digital products for RCCL as a positive impact on both our guest and employee experience.

The Sr. Manager will provide direction and supervision to their team as well as perform work when the need arises. In addition, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for all digital analytics outputs and ad-hoc requests. This individual will have a passion for data and be able to interpret and educate users and clients for maximum understanding and application to the business strategy.



  1. Leads a team supporting digital analytics in a multi-brand, multi-channel enterprise environment. Responsible for the overall implementation of analytics across new features developed for web and mobile app. Creates the global strategy for how the organization looks at customers digitally across all brands.
  2. Manages multiple, concurrent projects with successful results and within reasonable timeframes. Communicates project direction, approach, priorities, events and status to all project resources and business sponsors. Ensure project deliverables are on time and on budget, while meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
  3. Provides strategic guidance for advanced analytics, measurement and implementation. Performs advanced analysis of data from multiple systems to uncover actionable intelligence that provides value to the business. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for identifying ways to use data and analytics to guide product development strategy. S/he will evaluate new technologies and provide thought leadership in the selection, deployment and use of analytical tools.
  4. Makes recommendations and influences business decisions through analytics and by identifying actionable, data-driven insights. Deepens the understanding of consumers’ attitudes, behaviors and values. Builds strong tracking and reporting analysis. Communicates results to cross-functional groups as well as department executives.
  5. Responsible for training teams to be self-sufficient in basic report interpretation & standard analysis.
  6. Manages the compilation and dissemination of regular (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) reports on performance of digital channels.
  7. Manages vendor relationships. Strengthen relationships with vendors of measurement products, and evaluate new tools and products to augment existing capabilities.

Job Requirements


  • 9+ years in a digital analytics role, with ecommerce experience required and travel industry exposure highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of management over digital analytics teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Adobe Analytics experience required, including mobile implementation expertise
  • Expertise in digital marketing analytics, including website, mobile, social media, search and display
  • Experience with digital analytics reporting, online analytical processing, analytics, optimization, attribution modeling, business performance management and predictive analytics
  • Prior experience managing large projects from inception to completion, including ongoing support
  • Extensive experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies
  • Can demonstrated excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communications skills, with strong experience in communicating with senior managers and executives
  • Significant experience in leading teams/organizations in bringing high-quality products to market 

Knowledge and Skills:

To perform this position successfully, the individual should be a self-starter and able to complete multiple large projects with little direction. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manor. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required to satisfy this position:

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe systems and their architecture, including experience with Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst) and supporting personalization via Adobe Target and Audience Manager
  • Strong organizational / project management skills to manage milestones, budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Extensive knowledge with mobile analytics implementation best practices
  • Strong working understanding of A/B and multivariate testing techniques and best practices
  • JIRA/Confluence or similar agile collaboration tools
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret performance data from multiple sources
  • Experience with the evaluation of new technologies and projects for business value
  • Sound leadership skills to coach, mentor and motivate teams
  • Ability to turn meaningful research into actionable insights across customer lifecycle by segments, products and channels by integrating research insights with demographics, psychographics and behavioral data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint, with proven ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Ability to tackle very loosely defined problems, creating clarity, building trust and guiding stakeholders through process
