As a Sr. Manager of Strategy & Analytics you will help drive the operational success of the Shared Service Operations department. You will collaborate with senior leadership to shape the analytics agenda, organize resources and deliver a plan to reach the department’s most strategic priorities. You will be responsible for developing analytical tools, leading a small team of analytical professionals and delivering high impact insights that drive clarity, action and performance. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate aptitude in partnering with cross functional teams, analyzing large data sets and crafting powerful narratives that influence decision making. The candidate will also be very comfortable with communicating across business units (at all levels), presenting work to large and diverse audiences, while promoting an insight driven organization. 

Your work will elevate the impact of services that enable the guest experience, improve the quality of life for the crew and deliver superior returns for our brands.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Passionate about analytics, discovering insights and telling stories that raise the bar on performance.

Creates the necessary plans to serve the Shared Service Operations departments analytical, insights, research and experimentation needs. 

Performs in depth analyses that require creative problem solving (on really challenging problems), rigorous number crunching across disperse data sets and pitching solutions to executive audiences. 

Creates high impact business intelligence tools (i.e. dashboards, self-service portal, etc.) that scale, are easy to maintain and serve the needs (routine and ad hoc analyses) of the Shared Service Operations department.

Establishes a governing framework that is focused on analytical process improvement, target-setting and standardizing best practices. 

Brings the company’s (e.g. Marketing, Revenue, Operations, IT, etc) data together in new ways to drive efficiency, learning and answers to critical business questions.

Brings people together to discover insights, and new ways to use the company’s data. 

Coach and mentor other analytical professionals, while promoting an insight driven culture. 

 

Be a trusted advisor across commercial, operational and shared services that strives for action & impact. 

 

 

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be comfortable with creating, reviewing and evolving business cases with financial professionals. 

 

Capable of modeling complex operational activities and translating them into the financial impact. 

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

List the minimum level of education and experience required to perform the work at the entry level of the job. 

Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent required; MBA highly preferred

Minimum of 10+ years of analytics experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in supply chain, operations management, and/or information systems highly preferred

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Technical Skills: Your skilled at SQL, Power BI, or other Data Visualization tools, but more importantly you are an expert with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
