POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Account Executive, Digital Media will help develop, oversee and execute comprehensive Tactical digital media plans (Video, Display, Native, Paid Search and Paid Social) and will be responsible for tracking, testing, optimizing and reporting across Tactical Digital Media initiatives to meet our web booking goals.  The person in this role must have a full understanding of online media strategy, planning, buying/bidding, trafficking, optimization, campaign measurement, analysis and e-commerce best practices for direct response campaigns. Responsibilities include development of the product and promotional support strategy across our tactical digital media campaigns. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Digital Media and will work closely with the Digital Media Account Executive to ensure all tactical campaigns are executed accurately and on time.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the planning, execution, testing and optimization of Tactical paid digital media (lower funnel) channels which includes video, display, native, paid search and paid social media for both direct buys and programmatic.
  • Oversee production of the weekly/monthly/quarterly digital media campaign performance reporting and work with Sr. Manager and media agency on continuous optimizations and plan recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Sr. Manager in the development of digital media plans, including tactics and targeting, to ensure that all our campaigns are continually optimized to improve efficiency and effectiveness in order to meet or exceed various KPIs.  Liaise with Web team on landing page experiences for all traffic and demand-driving paid digital media channels and platforms.
  • Implement and maintain Media tracking tags on our websites via the tag management platform (Tealium).
  • Strategy development, management, execution and reporting on the ongoing creative testing plans for digital media channels in collaboration with Digital Media, Account Executive.
  • Implement and report on A/B testing plans within Tactical Digital Media Campaigns in collaboration with Digital Media Account Executive. Recommend creative and copy optimization based on data and findings.  Communicate/present the digital creative performance to internal teams such as Creative services, Social Media team and Marketing department leadership on a regular basis.
  • Identify and develop CRM and DMP segmentation audiences with the Database & Analytics teams for campaign targeting.
  • Assist in the training and development of the Digital Media Account Executive.
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of Adobe Analytics measurement of the visits and associated metrics from our Paid Digital Media channels by working with internal Analytics team and Digital Media Account Executive
  • Attend meetings with media sales representatives and vendors.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital trends, competitive programs and industry best practices.
  • Partner with cross functional teams, agency and media partners to drive integration seamless execution of digital media campaigns and promotions.
  • Provide display, mobile, social, video, paid search and programmatic expertise as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably with a major in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 3-4 years of experience working on Digital Media and Marketing campaigns and at least one year of e-commerce experience.
  • Previous experience working within or with a media Agency or work experience in Digital Media paid advertising and Web marketing.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Previous digital media campaign trafficking experience required.
  • Hands on experience with implementing campaigns and managing Digital Ad platforms such as Adwords (Google Ads), Facebook Ads platform, etc.
  • Deep understanding of digital media related performance metrics, media math calculations and ad formats (CPM, CPC, CPV, CTR, VCR, etc.)
  • Experience working with various digital media advertising technologies including 3rd party ad servers (FlashTalking, DoubleClick etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager and Tealium.
  • Working experience with 3rd party tracking tags/pixels and tag management solutions.
  • Understanding of Web Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and associated campaign tracking.
  • Understanding of HTML coding is preferred
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, and Flash preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot. Well-organized, with firm follow-through skills.
  • Understand custom audiences, lookalikes and modeling applications in the digital space to improve targeting effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Highly-motivated and tech savvy with a desire to expand their knowledge of digital media strategies and tactics.
    • Experience briefing and providing direction to creative teams on design and objectives of our digital media assets.
    • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently.
    • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
    • Has demonstrated a strong attention to detail and accuracy in previous position(s).
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask, able to handle continual change, flexible and works well under deadlines.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
    • Displays a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
