Job Description

Position Summary: 

The Mgr., Hotel Analytics & Performance- Internet and Telephone is responsible for the development and implementation of Revenue Management and Operations strategies to drive performance. Critical thinking, quantitative/qualitative analysis, effective implementation of strategies and communication of results is essential. This person is accountable for pricing, promotions and packages initiatives as well as the corresponding Marketing. Performance should be constantly assessed to optimize revenue and improve guest satisfaction as well as socialized with key stakeholders and leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Design and conduct quantitative analysis of Internet revenue drivers

 

  1. Analyze historical trends and benchmark Internet performance to optimize product offerings and operations

 

  1. Develop, enhance and maintain pricing strategy models. Manage data, data mining and modeling

 

  1. Implement strategies to drive Internet performance and maximize revenue through pricing, packages and promotions

 

  1. Collaborate with Marketing to effectively implement communication of new offerings and promotions to then assess and continuously improve execution

 

  1. Identify business opportunities and manage operational initiatives to deliver on Strategic Plan with a focus on profitable long-term growth

 

  1. Manage team of 40+ Communication Service Specialists across the Royal Caribbean fleet to drive sales, execute promotions and deliver customer service to Internet guests

 

  1. Monitor Internet guest satisfaction ratings and work with IT to constantly optimize connectivity across the fleet

 

  1. Partner with the brand’s Telephone service provider to assess performance and implement initiatives to drive revenue

 

  1. Work closely with Finance to develop annual forecast as well as sailing level targets on a quarterly basis for Internet and Telephone

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, operations or related field; MBA preferred

5-10 years related financial and business analysis experience with at least 3 years operations experience in tourism

Exceptionally strong analytical skills

Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Proven track record in program metric development and analytics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management, guests and employees
  • Ability to effectively present information to senior leadership, public groups, and/or board of directors
  • Advanced knowledge of Essbase, Hyperion Brio, JD Edwards, Oracle Database, and Microsoft Suite
