Job Description

This position will assist in directing the activities of a Data Science team responsible for the development, programming methods, and processes to consolidate and analyze data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for businesses across the company. They will oversee the work of teams who on objectives and work plans within a Program or Track. It will require partnering with Digital, IT, the brands, and other support functions. This is a core activity in supporting the transformation the company to be more data-driven and AI-driven in all that we do. It will result directly in the high levels of team performance that will positively impact the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution of AI projects/programs in alignment with and supporting our emerging Strategic Roadmap. Responsible for business impact, as measured critical business KPIs.
  • Adapt, modify, and re-prioritize work across the team within accord with emerging understanding of feasibility, actual realizable business impact, and timing.
  • Leverage data science tools and techniques to analyze large data sets and develop custom models/algorithms to uncover trends, patterns and insights in the data.
  • Oversee and organize a team of Data Analytics & AI professionals in their technical delivery.
  • Execute people programs for driving a more data-driven culture
  • Drive teams to deliver against actionable KPIs and success metrics and to ensure timely & accurate reporting.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring the efficient operation of the function.


Job Requirements


  • Master's degree in relevant field. Ph.D. strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years leading enterprise-focused analytics/AI teams and / or projects
  • Minimum of 2-3 years supervising and directing the work of professionals and/or functional experts.
  • Experience developing and implementing projects that link to core business such as ERP, MRP, BI, CRM, AM.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience leading / creating advanced AI models and solutions.
  • Lead the development of advanced composite and pipelined models• Strong ability to collaborate in matrix organization and make the whole better than the sum of the parts.
  • Leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
