Position Summary:

 

Investing in HR Capability is a strategic priority at RCL and is key to delivering a strategic, efficient and effective HR function.

 

As the Lead, HR Capability, you will play an integral role in further developing the HR Organization by focusing on the development and deployment of the HR Capability Development Strategy.

In partnership with our HR Leaders, HR COEs and HR Strategic Planning, you will lead the creation of strategic solutions for building skills, abilities and knowledge across HR.  This role will interact with Global Talent, HRIS and Total Rewards to ensure HR training is spaced and associated HR development is planned to support future implementations and job changes.

 

This role will also help establish career paths for the HR Function & plan for future HR moves.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing, leading and ensuring the successful execution of HR talent development.
  • Development of HR career paths.
  • Consulting and coaching of the global HR team
  • Conduct talent assessments utilizing leadership development strategies, tools, and processes to identify learning needs and employee competencies.
  • Uses talent assessments to fill key skill gaps and identify employee readiness, talent gaps, and retention risks.
  • Partner and collaborates with L&D to ensure key talent development and strategic solutions for improving skills across the company to meet our current and future needs of RCL.
  • Analyzes, compiles and reports on key data related to promotions, retention, and other key talent metrics.
  • Supporting ongoing HR Process Excellence initiatives.
  • Help define and implement new HR processes and tools.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Communications or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HRBP or L&D role.
  • Demonstrated passion for growing and developing talent.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience designing and implementing competency frameworks, performance management, career development and succession processes, is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker and global mindset experience working in a multi-national environment.
  • Strong team player, interpersonal skills and customer focus
  • Skilled and persuasive verbal, written, and communications skills, strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to inspire, effectively coach, consult, lead and influence others.
