As the Product Owner, ECommerce Air, the successful candidate will lead the strategic hyper-growth and continuous development in support of growing the eCommerce channel.  The role will be singularly focused on delivering a best in class, frictionless online experience that drives increased channel revenue.

The Product Owner, ECommerce AIr will be responsible for identifying opportunities, leveraging innovation, developing targeted strategies and leading the execution of the roadmap that will drive the web to aggressive performance milestones. He/She will lead a team of designers, and developers, as well as overseeing agency partners, working in collaboration across all commercially focused business units.

The successful candidate will not only demonstrate a solid track record of increased web-channel growth, but also show a keen eye for customer advocacy, refinement and performance-based optimization of ecommerce environments, and the leveraging of emerging technology to drive sales.  In short, the successful candidate is a metrics-focused leader with a passion for customers, technology, design and meaningful collaboration.


  • Relentless motivation for continuous site optimization by identifying, prioritizing, defining and delivering high-value enhancements that will improve overall business results and achieve online revenue targets.
  • Define and communicate at the executive level, the strategic roadmap for the product
  • Lead a cross-functional team accountable for driving the brand¿s digital channel growth goal and improving overall site satisfaction ratings
  • Serve as Product Owner, prioritizing product backlog, defining user stories and accountable for repeatable, efficient, quality delivery leveraging agile/lean methodology.
  • Excellent engaging and timely communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization. Ability to communicate just as effectively with senior VPs as with developers.
  • Improve organic lead growth across website and digital channels
  • Lead ongoing web diagnostics/troubleshooting, improve online customer experience, and increase efficiency of development teams.
  • Tirelessly brainstorm and drive ideas through A/B testing lifecycle. Evangelize and practice the test and learn philosophy to quickly and efficiently identify and evaluate opportunities that will inform the roadmap.
  • Recommend and develop innovative, engaging digital experiences to differentiate the brand, delight users, and deliver against Celebrity¿s Modern Luxury promise.
  • Conduct competitive and data driven analysis and industry research to identify gaps and opportunities that will further inform the product roadmap.
  • Improve organic lead growth across website and digital channels
  • Establish relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the company, including Corporate Digital and IT teams.
  • Partner with user experience, consumer insights, and analytics teams to optimize conversion and overall web revenue.
  • Think boldly and creatively, develop concrete product ideas and business cases.
  • Evaluate and manage strategic partnerships to bring industry-leading tools and features to Celebrity in a cost-effective manner.
  • Define metrics, report progress and create presentations for executive management.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. MBA preferred.
  • Preference for candidate to have working knowledge of airline industry, GDSes, ticket pricing strategies, cabin features
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience of increasing online conversion in retail, hotel, and/or travel industry
  • 2+ years¿ experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • 2+ years¿ experience with ecommerce best practices and competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy and roadmap planning
  • Deep understanding of online marketing principles, including but not limited to: conversion optimization, cross- and upsell, audience segmentation, A/B testing, merchandising, etc.
  • Proficiency in user experience and design principles.
  • Proven track record of successful web application implementation and project management.
  • Thorough understanding of web analytics.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in standard office software, knowledge of JIRA, Rich Relevance, Monetate, Adobe Test and Target, Adobe Experience Manager a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO Strategies a plus
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, and autonomously as required.
  • Ability to assume cross functional roles and responsibilities when necessary.
  • The role requires creativity, analysis, and flexibility, working in a fast-paced, changing environment aiming for record-setting results.

  • Understanding of online marketing and ecommerce, role of online in customer contact strategy as it relates to online, building customer engagement and direct sales via digital channels.
  • Experience in all phases of the web development life cycle, with familiarity with the Agile methodology.
  • Highly motivated and positive Can Do attitude
  • Ability to work simultaneously with multiple teams in different locales, different time zones, different levels of digital/online knowledge.
