Brief Description of team: Digital Marketing

The Search team ensures that when our target audiences search for specific and relevant content using Internet search engines, the Celebrity Cruises website appears at the top of the results. Search engine marketing uses techniques such as website search engine optimization (SEO), as well as paid search methods such as pay-per-click advertising. As digital marketers, search marketing specialists may also assist in planning and managing online advertising campaigns, updating websites with new content and functionality that drive search results and make business cases for further SEM expenditure.

Brief Description of Intern Project

The intern will be working on various types of search marketing projects, including researching consumer search behaviors, optimizing content (new website pages and blog posts), performing editorial outreach to travel bloggers, and analyzing and reporting on search and website data. Additionally, the intern will help support Celebrity paid search efforts by reviewing/updating ad copy to ensure it is engaging, on brand and on message.

 

 

Job Requirements

What we are looking for when recruiting Interns?

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor or Graduate degree program related to Marketing, Digital Media, or similar field. 
  • A minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Emulates pride, passion and commitment for their job and conveys excitement and enthusiasm for RCL.
  • Values teamwork and collaboration
  • Proven leadership ability, either in a student organization, project, and/or outside the classroom
  • Demonstrates a passion for service and commitment to dedicated to continuous improvement
