An exciting new opportunity has been made available for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team based in North Sydney. Celebrity Cruises is a global, multi-billion dollar, modern-luxury cruise line based in Miami, Florida with local offices in Sydney and Auckland.  Celebrity Cruises has a fleet of fifteen ships, sailing the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Asia, South America, and Australia/New Zealand. In 2020, Celebrity Cruises won over 160 awards in the leisure, travel, hospitality, innovation, and cruise line categories. 

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the strategy and ecosystem management of the Celebrity Cruises digital touchpoints in Australia/New Zealand to drive consumer engagement, conversion, and revenue.  Collaborating with the Web Team in Miami, the position manages promotional and product updates, brand content and digital performance of the Australia and New Zealand websites specific to the market

The Digital Marketing Specialist leads email marketing strategy and end-to-end delivery to achieve business objectives by working with the Email team, and, collaborates with the Loyalty team to effectively engage and convert bookings.

For the Trade, the position maintains brand and promotional content on “The Celebrity Commitment”” web-based trade portal, and, creates and sends weekly emails from the CRM to drive brand engagement and preference

 

Essential Responsibilities (not limited to): 

  • Participates in the development of an annual Marketing plan to achieve key digital metrics, including revenue and conversion
  • Partners with Head of Marketing to ensure media mix drives required demand through digital channels.  Coordinates investments and actions with Miami digital team
  • Partners with the Miami team on a calendar of events/actions related to web, eDM, and other digital channels to optimize timely execution of market requirements
  • Provides feedback to the Miami team on creative execution and collaborates on improvement opportunities.  Works with the local Commercial team to ensure pricing and promotions are accurate and timely.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve key metrics through both significant changes and minor enhancements
  • Analyzes and communicates digital performance across all channels, providing recommendations to improve current outcomes
  • Develops relationships and implements opportunities with third-party providers who can augment the local marketing database
  • Manages all updates and changes to the system for both content and functionality in the consumer and trade-facing websites
  • Collaborates with US and UK on all local web development projects from requirements through implementation.
  • Participates in discussions around revenue performance in Trading Meetings, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement while adapting to competitor and external factors
  • Understands the brand’s key differentiators, competitors, pillars, and target markets to ensure all sales activities and training are aligned
  • Contributes proactively to strategic and tactical decisions, including revenue management and marketing

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of e-commerce / website/ digital marketing experience including strategy, creative concept development and execution, and driving online performance campaigns
  • Proven experience in working with a multi-location team
