Job Description

The Data Analytics Storyteller is responsible for elevating the impact of the analytics team by designing

data visualizations, infographics, dashboards, presentations, to effectively communicate data insights through powerfully engaging narratives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Elevates the impact of all analytical work by focusing, inspiring, organizing and building messages which resonate across audiences at all levels.
  • Candidate must possess an extremely curious business mindset with an ability to condense complex concepts and analyses into clear and concise takeaways that drive action.
  • Candidate must have good communication, social and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • She/he must be able to synthesize strategic messages into clear, concise, cohesive and compelling stories and presentations.
  • Partner with various teams, including graphic design by providing creative input to develop visually engaging presentations.
  • Passionate about guest centric analytics, deriving insights and telling the guests’ story to improve their experience.
  • Able to prioritize projects, managing multiple projects simultaneously, working effectively under pressure and meeting all deadlines.

Job Requirements


  • Four-year Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five plus years of Analytics or Data visualization experience.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong Data to visual skills to create, design, edit and communicate slide presentations.
  • Extremely analytical: using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions.
  • Complex Problem Solving: identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and options and recommend solutions.
  • Negotiating and Persuasion: ability to persuading others to your point of view through strong storytelling.
  • Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are communicating and taking time to understand points being made.
  • Understanding end-state and the best way to present a story in a logical and analytical fashion to achieve desired results.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Graphic design required.
  • Knowledge of the cruise industry preferred.
