Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for various administrative duties for Entertainment Technicall Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, generate, update, and send Letter of Employment for all RCI technical staff crew members (approx. 300/ year)
  • Process all contract addendums and early termination documents for all RCI technical staff crew members
  • Create, approve, and process required SEAForms/WebForms for all cast members including Ice, Acro, Aqua, Theatre & Two70 Casts
  • Enter and create all initial travel requests for all RCI technical staff crew members
  • Input, Maintain & Communicate all ECC’s as needed
  • Determine visas required for the duration of a crew member’s contract
  • Assist in obtaining any special visas required by the different itineraries for all new hire crew members
  • Assist in setting up embassy appointments and provide proper documentation for all new hire crew members
  • Assist in submitting Seaman’s Book applications for new hire crew members
  • Assist with confirmation that all new hire crew members have obtained proper visas prior to attending training as needed
  • Submit Change of Gateway documents for new hire crew members not onboard
  • Project applicable permanent and temporary position codes in JD Edwards
  • Review inactivation list and update information in JD Edwards
  • Input information into all databases and revise any appropriate documents
  • Liaison between cast & office pertaining to new hire crew members documents
  • Review the immigration entry status for all Non-US cast members in trainings
  • Arrange correction of immigration entry status for all new hire crew members if required
  • Manager may assign additional duties

 

 

Job Requirements

 Qualifications:

2-3 years experience in the entertainment industry.  Cruise industry experience both shipboard and shoreside a plus.  Excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High School Degree required. AA Degree preferred. Experience on specific worldwide travel systems required.

Knowledge and Skills:

FACILITATION SKILLS Excellent understanding of policies and procedures.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Conversant Spanish speaker a plus

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS N/A

COMPUTER SKILLS Lotus, Excel, Access, Word

REASONING ABILITY Must have good problem solving skills and ability to manage last minute emergencies in a calm and organized manner.
