Job Description


Responsible for profitable revenue generation of Onboard Revenue programs and meeting and exceeding revenue plan.  Accounts assigned could include Retail, Art, Weddings, Spa, Gym, and Port Shopping.  Work closely with Manager of Royal Caribbean Onboard Revenue to develop strategies and plans that grow profitable business throughout our fleet.   Recommend the execution of Sales and Marketing activities between Royal Caribbean International and other concession partners. Communicate with other departments for support of strategies and initiatives. Build strong internal relationships which will support a need for overall business knowledge to enable successful implementation of new programs onboard our fleet.


  • Maintain global relationships with Concession partner, other internal departments, and shipboard teams
  • Oversee implementation of all initiatives related with assigned account;
  • Responsible for supporting Manager in responding to escalations from customers and shipboard teams
  • Responsible for recommending innovative ideas which will bring new business development to our onboard revenue as well as improving guest satisfaction
  • Manage account performance and key performance indicators stipulated in contracts;
  • Indirect oversight for managing all concession partners to ensure top quality employees are representing Royal Caribbean International¿s best interest (Influence staffing, coaching, sales development);
  • Evaluate and identify revenue generating opportunities, operational efficiencies and the sourcing/mix of revenue to grow our most profitable channels;
  • Provide day to day operational support to each vessel (25 ships) in the Royal Caribbean fleet
  • Translate Royal Caribbean International¿s corporate marketing and strategic direction to concession partners and assists in creating initiatives and projects to support these goals;
  • Interact regularly with all levels of concession partner¿s organization (from Presidents to Managers) as well as all levels of shipboard and shoreside management;
  • Perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management during their tenure.


Job Requirements


  • 2 to 5 years of hospitality, leisure, or consumer goods experience required. Travel industry preferred;
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred
  • Must be able to travel for 3-14 days at a time;
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Must have strong executive presentation skills;
  • Must have strong negotiation skills;
  • Must be able to build relationships with decision-makers of all operational areas, as well as the team both onboard and shore side;
  • Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical skills preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in shipboard operations and procedures and services relative to competitors;
  • Must be creative, enthusiastic and always willing to go above and beyond what is expected to exceed customer expectation
