Brief Description of Team

Our team develops strategic and tactical analytics, and reporting for, revenue generating opportunities within Trade Support and Service. These areas include Reservations, Groups Business, Strategic Products, National Accounts, Trade air, Finance Team, and Onboard Revenue. Ensures all analytical resources are working together with each other, Sales, Marketing, Revenue, IT, Trade Support, Shore Excursions and Hotel Operations to ensure one source of data- and integrated analysis that provide insight into how Celebrity can maximize its revenue generation efforts. The role will work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations senior leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and initiatives. Writes and provides executive level analysis and presentations, as well as strategic business plans and supporting initiatives.                                                                                                      

Brief Description of Intern Project

The Intern will support increasing revenue generation by creating and utilizing reporting that identifies additional sales opportunities in several areas including Reservations, Groups Business, Strategic Products, National Accounts, Trade Air, and Onboard Revenue. Assist in developing implementing and enhancing high impact, actionable business reporting for leadership. Provides actionable, data-based recommendation as well as identify sales, marketing and operational trends, forecast sales. Calculates and monitors performance and trends to ensure sales, marketing and operational effectiveness. Responsible for strategic initiatives and projects impacting reservations, groups business, strategic products, national accounts, Trade air, and onboard revenue. Work with Revenue Management to identify and report revenue opportunities, promotions and risks.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for when recruiting Interns?

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor or Graduate Business Analytics, Economics or Finance related degree program
  • GPA of 3.2 and higher preferred
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
  • Must be able to be employed from May 26th to August 7th on a full-time basis
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Emulates pride, passion and commitment for their job and conveys excitement and enthusiasm for RCL.
  • Excited to collaborate and eager to learn from others
  • Proven leadership ability, either in a student organization, project, and/or outside the classroom
  • Demonstrates a passion for service and commitment to continuous improvement
